A chin augmentation is a surgical procedure to reshape or enhance the size of the chin.
Chin augmentation can strengthen the appearance of a receding chin by increasing its projection. The procedure does not affect the patient’s bite or jaw. There are two techniques, first one is performed through an incision inside the mouth and involves moving the chinbone, then wiring it into position. The other approach requires insertion of an implant through an incision inside the mouth, between the lower lip and the gum, or through an external incision underneath the chin.
Also known as a forehead lift, a brow lift minimizes the creases that develop across the forehead or those that occur high on the bridge of the nose. Is commonly referred to as frown lines, vertical creases that develop between the eyebrows and repositions a low or sagging brow. The forehead lift is designed to correct or improve skin wrinkling, as well as loss of tone and sagging of the eyebrows that often occurs as part of the aging process. The procedure may also help to smooth horizontal expression lines in the forehead and vertical frown lines between the eyebrows.
Every year, many men and women choose blepharoplasty to improve the way they look. Droopy eyelids can make you look older and can also impair vision. Blepharoplasty, also known as eyelid surgery can brighten the face and restore a more youthful appearance by reducing the fat that cause bags beneath the eyes and removing wrinkled, drooping layers of skin on the eyelids that make you look worn and tired. This procedure cannot alter dark circles, fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes, nor can it change sagging eyebrows.
Ears that are too large or are awkwardly “sticking out” can be corrected with this procedure. With the help of LA or GA, small incisions to reshape the cartilage are made. Ears can be set back (or pinned back) with small and inconspicuously incisions in the creases behind the ears where excess tissue is removed and the cartilage is held back with stitches.
The procedure takes about 2 hours and day care may be required. Recuperation is 2 to 3 days and stitches will be removed after 7 days.
