Arms Lift

If the underside of your upper arms are sagging or appear loose and full due to excess skin and fat, an arm lift may be right for you. Exercise may strengthen and improve the underlying muscle tone of the upper arm, but it cannot address excess skin that has lost elasticity or underlying weakened tissues and localized fat deposits.

Drooping and sagging upper arms appearance are usually caused from the increased volume associated with weight gain. To accommodate the increase in volume, your skin stretches. As you lose weight, the skin of your upper arms often fails to tighten, so it sags. The result is loose upper arm skin. Fluctuations in weight, growing older and even heredity can cause your upper arms to have a drooping and sagging appearance.

The only way to improve this problem is to undergo an arm lift, also called Brachioplasty. An arm lift will result in a more toned and proportionate arms appearance. An arm lift procedure includes reducing excess skin and fat between the underarm and the elbow, and reshaping the arm to result in smoother skin and contours. The duration for arm lift procedure will take about two to three hours. An additional one hour will be required by patient in the observation area.
