Crown & Bridges

A front tooth with multiple tooth-coloured fillings will look very unnatural and as years go by, stains may appear around the margins of the fillings. Also, a very large filling can lead to fracture of both the material and tooth itself. For such case, a crown is advisable.

A crown is a “porcelain cap” shaped like a tooth fixed on to the tooth in order for the tooth to function and look like natural tooth. A crown requires 7-10 days of preparation and manufacturing. The number of visits and time needed for preparation increase with the number of crowns required.

A BRIDGE consists of 3 units (or more) of crowns attached together and fitted over 2 retaining teeth to bridge a gap caused by one or more missing tooth in between.
