Wisdom teeth are usually impacted (buried) in the jaw bone due to insufficient space for its eruption. A normal extraction cannot be done to remove it; therefore a minor oral surgery is needed. The procedure is done under local anesthetic by an Oral Surgeon. Patient will be given medication pre and post treatment to minimize discomfort.
